Adult braces
Orthodontic treatment can be successful at any age and adults especially appreciate the benefits of a beautiful smile. Today, almost one of every five patients in orthodontic treatment is over 21. There are several options for orthodontic treatment from which adults can choose. Traditional braces are always an option. For those adults that would prefer a more esthetic alternative, ceramic braces are a great alternative! If one qualifies, clear plastic aligners (SureSmile/Invisalign), as well as lingual braces, can also provide exceptional results. All of these choices have their own advantages and disadvantages.
Many different factors go into understanding adult orthodontics. While some adults need limited treatment to correct some minor relapse, others need complete orthodontic care.

Clear ALIGNERS
Clear aligners are almost invisible. The smooth comfortable plastic aligners are used to move teeth into proper alignment. Aligners are easy to remove for eating and cleaning.
Clear Braces
Like traditional braces, but made of ceramic. These braces don’t stain, proving to be a great esthetic option for the duration of treatment.
INSIDE/LINGUAL BRACES
Lingual braces, or known as inside braces to some, are placed on the inside of the teeth. Just like traditional braces, wires are placed and the teeth are moved into the correct alignment. Lingual appliances are completely out of site.
RETAINERS
Minor alignment corrections can be accomplished by wearing an adjustable Hawley retainer.
